TICKETS
The event is free but all guests must register to attend. Guests will receive an e-ticket email from EventBrite after registering for the event. The e-ticket will include a QR code. As soon as you receive your tickets, it is HIGHLY recommended that you save them one of three ways:1. Add them to your Apple wallet. Tickets cannot be added to Google wallet.
2. Take a screenshot.
3. Print a hard copy that can be easily accessed and scanned on-site
Upon arrival:
1. Proceed to the check-in area located near Gates A, B or C (see attached map.)
2. Present your e-ticket QR Code for scanning.
3. Each QR code will be scanned and guests will receive their event access wristband.
WHAT IS THE COST OF ADMISSION?
Admission is free and open to the public. However, there will be sales inside the festival where food truck vendors will offer food for purchase.
DO I NEED A TICKET TO THIS EVENT?
Yes. (Please note there are NO physical tickets to this event.) Guests must register and will receive an e-ticket email from EventBrite after registering for the event. The e-ticket will include a QR code that needs to be shown for entry. Onsite registration will be allowed.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Check the forecast and dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate items. Sneakers are encouraged. No offensive graphic tees allowed.WHAT CAN I BRING?
Allowed: Fun! Water Bottle: reusable water bottle (no glass.) Water stations available. (Factory-sealed plastic water bottles and empty reusable bottles are allowed; Sunscreen Hat and Sunglasses Backpack or Small Bag: no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (Gallon ZipLoc Size). For safety purposes, all items are subject to search. Clear bags are strongly encouraged. (Bike parking will be available) Weapons or projectiles Illegal Substances: Use and/or possession of illegal substances and related paraphernalia is strictly prohibited.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the event.WHAT CAN I DO TO PROTECT MY HEALTH + SAFETY AT THE EVENT?
Be sure to: o Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water! Hydration stations are available on W. Adams Blvd. Wear sunscreen and a hat for protection from the sun. Stay close to people you know!IF IT RAINS, DOES THAT MEAN THE EVENT IS CANCELED?
No. The event is rain or shine.PUBLIC SAFETY
Security and safety are our top priorities. We collaborate closely with law enforcement and public safety agencies to ensure the safety of all attendees. If you or someone you know requires medical assistance, please locate the nearest medical tent or notify a staff member. Flag down any staff member or public safety official if you observe any unusual activity or behavior. The Lost Child Tent is situated on the corner of Cimarron & W. Adams Blvd.!HOW TO GET TO PLAY DAY
- Limited parking will be available at the SCLARC Parking Garage, 2501 S. Hobart Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90018. Entrance to the parking structure is on Hobart Blvd. between 25th Street and Adams Blvd. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis between 10 AM – 3 PM.
- Avoid parking challenges and go Metro to Play Day! Plan your trip here.
- Rideshare Drop Off/Pickup Location: We suggest you have your rideshare driver drop you off at the corner of W. 25th St. and Cimarron St.
- Street parking is available in the surrounding areas. Please note parking signage.
BAGS or BACKPACK POLICY
Backpacks or small bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (Gallon ZipLoc Size) are allowed. For safety purposes, all items are subject to search. Clear bags are encouraged.FOOD OPTIONS
